Investigation software for accident investigation bureaus
A bureau is usually short of people, not of data. SeyAero carries the arithmetic, the bookkeeping and the timeline so the investigator spends the time where judgement is actually needed: at the wreckage, in the interview room, and over the recorder.
Used against twelve historical accidents as blind reconstructions. The results are published on the validation page.
Search, sequence, cause, report
The platform follows the shape of a real investigation rather than imposing a workflow on it. It begins with a free written account of the occurrence from the investigator, drafts a properly structured summary from it, then guides the collection of each evidence class in the order that matters.
- ▸Wreckage search probability contours from the last known state and drift
- ▸Sequence reconstruction with causal antecedents made explicit
- ▸Counterfactual testing: what would have had to be different for the outcome to change
- ▸Survivability and post-crash egress modelling, including tenability and exit flow
- ▸Hypothesis ranking that refuses a probable cause when the evidence cannot carry one
- ▸Annex 13 drafting in plain investigative prose, reviewed and confirmed by the investigator
Checked against history
Every model release is re-run against a benchmark set of published accidents before it ships. A change that improves one case but degrades the set is rejected. Benchmark positions are taken from official reports and cited.
What it does not do
It does not interview witnesses, inspect wreckage, read a recorder in a laboratory, or determine cause. Those remain the bureau's work. The platform holds the evidence, tests the physics and shows the reasoning.
